Half Kiwi and originally from Devon, Polly has been writing songs since the age of 12 but has arrived 'fashionably late' on the music scene, by current standards. She was instantly recognised as a huge talent on her very first demo CD, by a highly respected figure in the industry, at which point she decided to turn professional.
Now approaching her fourth year on the music scene, Polly has spent this time 'honing the craft' of live performance. Working solo and with other world class musicians has enabled Polly to capture audiences at festivals and top class venues throughout Europe and the UK such as The Jazz Cafe, Bush Hall London and the O2 Academies.
While mainly focused on creating her own material, and co-writing, Polly has lent her vocal talent to various other artists, including featuring on several tracks of John Illsley's latest album, which she tours with him in summer 2010. Polly's integrity means she retains her credibility and personal style throughout her projects and performances.
Having been recently signed to an independent label, the time ahead is to be spent recording Polly's debut album on which the legendary Sam Brown (of the 80's hit Stop) will be co-producing.
