Biography
Half Kiwi and originally from Devon, Polly has been writing songs since the age of 12 but has arrived 'fashionably late' on the music scene, by current standards. She was instantly recognised as a huge talent on her very first demo CD, by a highly respected figure in the industry, at which point she decided to turn professional.
Now approaching her third year on the scene, Polly is involved in not just her own solo work, but collaborates on a frequent basis with fellow guitarist, Steve Picken.
Since Spring 2008 the two have been working solidly on building up a repertoire of Polly's original songs which Steve lends his truly phenomenal fingerstyle guitar skills to. They have amazed audiences at many of the top music venues in the South, and are quickly building up a local fan base, despite their relatively recent partnership. Previously to this, Polly collaborated with other artists, with whom she played venues such as The Jazz Café in Camden and The Big Chill House in Kings Cross. Polly's integrity means she retains her credibility and personal style throughout her projects and performances.
