Polly and Steve have been working with a great new drummer and bass player in a studio in the depths of the Berkshire coutryside... The guys, who have worked together as a duo for years, have already mastered several of the existing tracks and are now working on developing some of Polly's latest writing.  Watch this space for the first live 'Band Gig.'   Rock On!!

At the highest altitude gig to date - and it's gonna take some topping - Polly, with guitarist Steve Picken, played to the new season skiers on the Italian Dolomites. A stage was erected mid-piste, with all gear (and players) being transported by ski lift to Piz de Plais at 1620m!

Polly got everyone warmed up (!) before the legendary players from Dire Straits took to the stage for a shiveringly good show to the 2000 strong crowd. Despite the sub-zero conditions, there was no chance of a frosty reception as Polly got feet stamping and hands clapping across the salopetted audience, once again delivering a stomping gig to a great crowd!

We love you Italy!

In the coming weeks and months, Polly will be working on developing some new and exisiting material with a small band. She will be taking some time out from gigging to work on this, and penning new songs, with a bigger and better sound heading your way early next year!!

Polly was presented with a commemorative plaque and bouquet of flowers by the Mayor of Gambassi, the town which hosted the final night of the festival.  Ahh, sweet... Polly and the rest of the performers were treated to true Italian hospitality for their week long stay and will be looking forward to the same next time,
