The Italian Job: Part 2

Polly's manager is in talks with an Italian promotions company to arrange a club tour for the end of 2009, following her demo being heard in Rome recently. This would be in collaboration with renowned british blues artist Steve Philips of Notting Hillbillies fame, and would likely take place over the course of two weeks in November. Watch this space for updates...!


In the Studio

Polly and Steve Picken are heading back to the studio in May to record and produce new tracks with engineer Carl Mackintosh. In the meantime, Polly will be working on recording several acoustic tracks at Kiln Cottage Studios in Berkshire, where she will also be looking at writing vocals for the new album from Chris White.

World-class and world famous drummer Jimmy Copley is lined up to work with Polly on developing some of her tracks at his favourite studio in Bath. This will likely mean new versions of ‘Do It' and ‘Halcyon Days' will be available, as well as work on some new material yet to be released...


The Italian Job

Polly is heading to Italy in June for her first International gig! She and fellow guitarist Steve Picken will be playing a at a CLIC Sargent Cancer Research charity fundraiser being held in Sardinia. This follows the success of their gig at The Bush Hall in October last year with John Illsley and Greg Pearle and looks set to be a great event!

Gig at The Bullet Bar in Camden postponed due to venue takeover! A request was made for Polly to re-schedule and play on the final night under the current management but unfortunately the date clashed with another upcoming gig. A new date may be arranged for later in the year.

UPDATE !! The gig is still on but at a new venue, to be confirmed later this week !!!
